9-16-2003 Lawson Valley - At approximately 2 p.m. San Diego Rural Fire received numerous calls of a structure fire on Beaver Hollow Road in Lawson Valley, an area just east of Jamul. Units arriving on scene found a trailer home fully involved and fire spreading into the brush. Air tankers responded to assist with the fire along with CDF fire crews and knocked down the fire within about an hour and a half. After the fire was knocked down the body of the occupant was discovered inside the burned structure. San Diego Sheriff's Bomb Arson team was called in to investigate the cause of the fire.
